MCModifying CreamWe like to use light lotions with SPF 15 for added protection.  You are more than welcome to work with the lotion of your choice. The amount of makeup to lotion depends on how heavy you want your application to be, how much you like to rub your lotion in, and how long your lotion takes to absorb. We suggest starting with 1/4 LS  of makeup to your normal daily serving of lotion. Add more if it’s too light. Dust dry powder over applied colored lotions for heavier spot applications. Be Aware: Lotions that do not absorb into the skin (heavy creams) will move, which might cluster makeup into patches over time due to body heat or other environmental variables.
MNMatching Neutral A Matching Neutral or MN finished product is  a color that matches the overall neutral of the face. Most people have more than one color in their skin complexion, and can potentially have several MN formulas. MNs help in mixing all kinds of formulas specific to you.
MVWModifying Vegetable Glycerin and WaterWe like to mix Vegetable Glycerin (brand nonexclusive; generic fully acceptable) with water (purified, no exceptions) in a 2:1 (2 parts vegetable glycerin: 1 part water) ratio. If this ratio is irritating, dilute the vegetable glycerin with more water (for example: 1 part vegetable glycerin: 1 part water. You can dilute it further if needed).
